This time of year I leave my Pleasure Way on shore power as the vent fan is running 22 hours a day - 110º here.
The converter charges the battery for me, and has a feature called "charge wizard" which varies the voltage to the battery to maintain it.
When temps are nicer and I don't need the fan running, I have a timer on my shore power for an hour each night to keep the battery topped up, it'll have the drain of the alarms on it.
I also have a timed charger on the vehicle battery
