Default New carpet

Just finished replacing the flooring in our 2006 Excel.
Put vinyl plank in the living area and new carpet up front. Lots of staples in the carpet and lots of glue on the linoleum.
Also installed loncoin in the step well.

The floor is all plywood up to where the vinyl plank ends.

I mentioned the vinyl plank to my better half, yours looks great. Did you take out the captain seats to replace the carpet

I did remove the seats but left the swivel base. There are 4 14mm nuts and a wire connector.
I also under cut the trim so the plank would slide underneath.

on my chev, I replaced the seat base foam last year ( YAY!)

while there I cleaned out the old crusty lube and gunk

and relubed

much smoother, easier

thanks for answer on the plywood...food for thought. so far our flooring is good, but dog hair ( really mine falling out) and sand and pine needles make me want easier cleaning

Wow, Gimblerotor, that is gorgeous!
You've got me wanting to rip out that back carpet, too!
My wife wants me to remove the table base from the floor in back because it sticks up and we trip on it, and buy a portable tripod base. You get the added advantage of being able to take the table outside.

Thanks for the compliment. You should go for it. It’s not that hard to do. If you remove the table base you have to plug the hole with something. It goes all the way through the floor.
