Our custom built Class B cost $130k and took ten months to build during which I spent probably 800 to 1000 hours on design and construction observation, a process which was sometimes stressful and irritating due to builder mistakes. After all that aggravation, time, and money, we hope this is the last one we'll ever own, so to minimize wear and tear and prolong its useful life we try to use it only for road trips and camping.

Who is your insurance company? Not loving the rate from Liberty Mutual.

They have three levels....less than 30 days per year....
30 to 150 days per year and full time......we have the 30 to 150 days per year plan....and we can use it anytime....but they know it's not our daily driver....
Who is your insurance company?

My RT is my 'daily driver" but being retired I still only have 30900 miles after buying it new in Feb 2016. I keep insurance year round I also have my play car a Camaro SS convertible driven about 3-5 days a month and wife still works has her own SUV. I am a firm believer that the more a vehicle is used the longer they will last versus letting them sit as long as it is maintained.

Do to health reasons, we rely more on the RT for general driving...we have three vehicles, but we enjoy the apartment on wheels. Someone mentioned the cost - I bought new, got everything I wanted and it performs flawlessly. My insurance is annual, and being in VA, I can drive year round. Our days of camping are all but gone, but the 210....it is a keeper.
