I am looking for a Rear Passenger Captains Chair

My Adventurous seat was replaced with a custom cabinet just inside the sliding door by the PO.
The cabinet is really nice and well made but I have need for the 3rd seat that came with the van. I am interested in purchase or trade for the cabinet it is very ice and much better than the Roadtrek cabinet options available on the drivers side. I need the seat and base (the bolts are still in the floor and were cleverly used to secure the custom cabinet)

Interesting. I wonder if it would "fit" in my 170P?
I'd have to convince my better, to make the swap. We will be venturing to Nashville and Memphis in a few (months). But, don't hold it.

Some picutres of the cabinet and dimensions would be helpful.

Also, you wrote "Captains Chair." It is the 3rd seat position - right? I wouldn't describe ours as that - more of a bucket seat, no rotation. RT Original grey finish.

I have a seat from my 2018 CS Adventurous that I don't need. It's pretty large and heavy and I'm in Calif. If you can figure out how to ship it you can have it.

All I have in mine after removing the cabinet is 4 bolts in the floor!
It is still on the base (metal plate with the riser post)?
I'm sure I can find a pack and ship type service somewhere close to you.

You might want to check the recall notices. After Roadtrek went bankrupt there was a recall of the second row seats in some(all?) models because they weren't installed properly. Apparently they failed a "pull test". As far as I know there have been no actual instances of the seats failing, but the recall had people remove the seatbelts and label the seats as not useable when driving.

There is a fix for it, but you will need to find a dealer who can do it. You will also have to pay out of pocket for it. Thor/Hymer got all the money left when they put Roadtrek into bankruptcy.

I sold one a couple months ago for $200 plus $170 shipping. Florida to Idaho I think. They are very hard to come by.

We have a 2016 CS Adventurous with the third seat, behind the passenger. Since it is not safe for travel, we just use it to set things on while loading and unloading, and for sitting on when the two of us want to eat up front. We also use it as an ottoman to sit up if one of us can't sleep at night.

HOWEVER, we have 32,000 miles on the vehicle, and the seat has collapsed badly enough that it is not really comfortable any more. We are looking for a QUALITY seat that we can replace it with. It is NOT the same as the front seats. The support is much less, and the quality just isn't there.

I have both rear captains chairs from my 2016 RS Adventurous. I took them out to install a storage box and a large dog bed. The chairs are gray and in very good condition. Make me an offer that I can’t refuse and I just might deliver one or both to you.
