Default Pleasureway Plateau Owners / From Jerry Gaylor 2006 Plateau

Today I removed my front passenger seat with hope of installing an extra coach battery in there. I thought I measured carefully and decided a group 49 would fit. Man, was I wrong. First the battery is too high it would hit the seat bottom, next it was too long, and last it was too wide. The battery tray is welded to the floor and is the culprit. I guess it could be cut/ modified, but before I go that far I could use some help.

I must have had a brain fart or something.

So now I am seeking help from those of you who have installed a coach battery under the passenger seat or one was already there when you got your coach.

i would like to know make/model/dimensions, and whether you has to make any modifications to install it. Also what did you use to secure the battery in place?
