Default Can anyone with a Sprinter Van confirm if it sound like a hurricane at higher speeds?

Hello.

I have a new Mercedes sprinter van and the passenger side door sounds like a hurricane on the highway.

I'm not sure if this is normal or if there is a problem with the window seal.

Can anyone with a sprinter van confirm or deny if they also have this issue?

Thanks.

My son’s 2017 MB has zero noise from any of the doors. Very quiet on the highway.

My 2013 Sprinter is very quiet since new. You can use automotive stethoscope (without the vibration amplifying rod with its membrane) to trace leaking weather seals.

My side door is quiet. What brand is your Class-B Sprinter? Door may not be adjusted right to close tightly or converter has added something to inside of door to prevent it from closing all the way. Is it a manual or power sliding door?

Edit: Just checked your profile and see you have a GrechRV. Contact them about getting your door adjusted.

If there is a door or window problem, you need to contact the local MB dealer because this will be treated under the Sprinter vehicle warranty.

Grech warrants stuff that they manufactured and installed in the van.

Individual suppliers warrant equipment installed in the van such as the refrigerator or AC.
