Mies - "Less is more" 144 wheel base, 2500 chassis Mercedes Benz Sprinter with bunk beds, a 31" x 38" bathroom, 27 cf of stacked storage in the back with adjustable shelves to accommodate two folding bicycles and two inflatable kayaks inside the van at the same time. Definitely a one or two person Class B without need for convertible either/or staying up or sleeping spaces.
The galley is larger than any short Sprinter I am aware of with microwave and refrigerator at standup height, built in Keurig coffee maker, portable induction cooktop.
It is an all electric van with no propane. Lithium ion batteries of up to 844ah, 3,000 watt inverter/charger and second under hood 330 amp alternator.
Full windows all around except for the driver's side rear quarter panel where the back storage, Bathroom and tall closet are designed. The tall microwave, refrigerator/freezer, and Silverleaf monitor cabinet on the passenger side blocks out half the sliding door entry. The outside look will be like a passenger van with windows all around with awning venting at the bunk beds, sliding door and galley. There will be two skylights. One in the bathroom and one over the top bunk bed.
It will be a 2020 Advanced RV (ARV) custom build. |
