Winnebago ERA extra storage

If you have a Winnebago ERA 70a RV, you may have noticed that the space under the sofa bed seat is wasted. I made modifications so I can use the space under that seat for storage. It’s also a nice place to store valuables since it’s kind of stealth and not evident that you can get into it.

I added a length of speaker wire for the subwoofer so the wire could be taped along the wall, keeping it out of the way. May want to create some...

Added a magnetic clasp on the right side to hold the “door” shut. Although the lever used to raise and lower the sofa bed kinda does the same thing.

Replaced the mounting brackets on the left side with hinges so the bevel under the seat can swing open like a door.

My modification doesn’t look like anything different when the door is closed. Nice little hiding place.
