We have a 2013 LTV Unity MB with over 30,000 miles on it. We have been fulltiming since April 2014 and are averaging 15 mpg with a roof full of solar panels and pulling a toad.

Heated mattress pads are better than electric blankets. They use less energy and heat from below so it rises through your body. A down comforter and merino wool stocking cap and you are good to go....

12 gauge wire between the panels and the controller seems undersized. I'd be more comfortable with 10 gauge.

A couple more questions for you patient responders...

Are AP or automotive post terminals OK for RV house batteries? Are they more prone to loosening than M8 or even Marine Dual terminals?

How much room for solar on PW Plateau?
