Default 2017 Custom Sprinter for sale- $145K

Hi Class B Gang - I spent a lot of time lurking here a couple of years ago as I was formulating ideas for how I wanted to build my rig but I am now sadly selling it after very little enjoyment.

The design point for my van was to have an rugged exterior but a more stylish interior hence material selections like walnut. The other key design point I had was for an entirely off grid set up since I like to traverse forest roads and avoid campgrounds.

Van was customized by Johnson Custom Vans in San Diego.

Mileage - 5K - Drove it from San Diego to Austin November 2017 and just completed an Austin to Charleston, SC trip in April 2018. I live in Austin, TX and the van is here with me.

Platform
2017 MB 170 High Roof
6 Cylinder diesel - 2 wheel drive
Active Safety package with Parktronic
Trailer hitch package
Swivel Seats
Security Alarm
2 Spare Keys
Seats 4
Sleeps 5-6
MB Extended Warranty - 4 years/175K

Exterior
Agile Offroad modified suspension + New wheels and tires also provided by Agile Offroad (plus spare tire mounted under vehicle)
Aluminess Rack + Aluminess ladder
CRL Windows added (2 sliders in the back and 1 T framed window on driver side of van)
Solar (30 amp)
Carefree awning (crank)
25 gallon stainless steel water tank
Lighting - front light bar, exterior rear lighting and exterior passenger side

Interior
Vitrifrigo 12V Refrigerator
Kingtec AC Unit for rear
Richlite countertop
Sink
6 Gallon Water heater
Exterior shower head
Induction stove (single burner)
Laveo Dry Flush toilet (I have this where you can easily remove it)
Cork flooring
Black walnut wrapped interior
Alpine stereo head unit + 2 twelve inch subwoofers and 6 JBL mid range speakers added
Automotive grade leather for the bench seating in the back and for the backs I used material from St. Frank)
2 Seater Jump Seat

Other Details
EJ made two tables for the van (one sits in between the back benches and another smaller one for the front of van)

Suggestion for increasing sales potential among knowledgeable buyers:

Post pics and further details on what "off-grid" means in the context of this vehicle. Or redirect to a website with that info. Walnut will generate only a limited amount of interest. The incremental value is in the electrical upgrades relative to what else is serving as competing sales.

You might want to re-word this.

It sounds like there is something wrong with the rig.

@BBQ - Funny that you mention that because I did want to edit the expression but couldn't edit the original post.

To clarify the sadness comment, the van is in perfect condition but I'm sad to be selling it after not owning it very long. My sister ended up in a really bad accident a few months ago and I am now on point to care for her quite a bit which is limiting my time to enjoy the van.

Good luck with your sale.

Have you also posted it on sprinter-source and various FB groups?

If these are Lifeline GPL-31XTs, they are awesome batteries.
