Default 2018 Winnebago ERA 70X For Sale

Looking to explore our wonderful country in leather wrapped comfort? How about a summer trip or fall leaf peeping tour? Or maybe a beach visit with a fantastic base camp?

This beautiful, interior storage kept, 2018 Winnebago ERA 70X, built on a dependable Mercedes-Benz chassis, is extremely smooth riding and both my wife and I enjoy driving it. And at 24’ in length, this is no lumbering Class A to worry about clearances and parking. It drives like a standard size van and fits in regular parking spaces. And, with 7 seat belt locations, it’s been a great vehicle for visits with the grandkids or a “girls night out”, with a designated driver of course.

Included are amenities such as back-up camera, refrigerator/freezer, 2000watt inverter, A/C, stereo and Bluetooth, and a temperature controlled cooling fan in the roof. The generator can be set to automatic mode to turn off automatically during campground quiet hours, or come on automatically if the temperature in the rig gets too warm for your four-legged fury friends and you need the A/C on while you’re out for a hike. And the Carefree of Colorado push-button awning with automatic wind-retraction provides cooling shade at the campsite without the old-style arms to avoid walking into.

And the German-made TRUMA combination water heater and coach heater works fantastic and is incredibly quiet. We’ve camped in temps well below freezing and remained toasty inside.

Because this is a Mercedes-Benz diesel it provides superior power and MPG when compared to similarly sized gasoline engines. In town 18MPG and on the road, 21MPG. Just set the cruise control and enjoy the ride. And M-B diesels have reputations for durability and many years of service.

The unit features all the amenities you’d need to rough it in style. Among them, an onboard bathroom featuring a wet bath style shower, toilet, hot and cold running water, microwave/convection oven, 13,500BTU air conditioner. And when 30AMP electrical hookups aren’t available, such as when you might boondock, the ONAN 2500KW generator supplies power for running the A/C, and all appliances, for a cozy stay. And as an added bonus, there are two 100W solar panels on the roof so replenishing coach batteries is automatic on those sunny days.

This unit has been meticulously maintained with all factory specified services including frequent oil changes at the Mercedes-Benz dealer and it only has 28,300 miles, barely broken-in. So why are we selling it? We bought the unit with 8,000 miles following my retirement two years ago and have taken it from Naples, Florida to Washington State. We’ve visited our big national parks in Wyoming, Colorado and Montana and made trips to see family in Arizona. Now, we’d like to settle down and purchase a house near grandkids in Arizona. The only known issue is a coach radio, not the Mercedes-Benz dash radio. It doesn’t work even after replacing the unit and exterior speakers. Not caring to use that anyway, we haven’t bothered to repair it.

So, if you’ve always wanted an easy to drive RV, with excellent comfort and road manners that anyone can drive, this is a must see unit. Priced well below new models and ready to help you enjoy years exploring the beauty of our country. Only $109,375.
