How much to ship to Georgia? Is it difficult to lift up and down?

Default Shipping

I have no idea on shipping but it has to weigh around 75lbs or a bit more. It operates very easily, folds down flat to open the rear door. I've seen others use it as a table in the down position. You might check FedEx or UPS. Maybe a shipping company would be less?? Thx Bruce

We want to buy just the carrier. We don't need the tire. Is that what you are selling? Would it be possible to get a picture of how it attaches to the rail?

Lowering the price to $250.00, if I don't sell it's off to the scrap hemp. I don't have room to store it. It's in great condition.

Just to clarify my offer of 250 is for the total of the tire carrier and shipping. Just didn't want any confusion...my zip is 77429 Cypress Tx. My email is tooclosetotheedge@gmail.com and I can send you the full address via email instead of on here.

Thanks!

Default Sprinter Tire Rack shipping

The local UPS store just got back with me with shipping charges. She quote me $445.00 total, they have to make special boxes, $125 for the two, then shipping $160 each package. I thought it sounded crazy high. Bruce

Well that is crazy! Thanks though for trying but I think I'll have to pass on it for now. Have a great day! Keith

Wondering if there is a nearby RV recycler that might take it versus sending it to trash or a metal recycler.

How about local Craigslist?

Seems a shame to waste, but I’m not surprised about the shipping. A freight company might be cheaper but inconvenient.

I removed mine, too, but I found an out-of-the-way place to store it for the next owner. Gotta be careful, though… When I was storing the Roadtrek spare holder, I found a couple of items I had removed from a 1993 Subaru wagon I gave away over 13 years ago. Forgot to hand them off!
