Default Dometic Fan

Hi, I have a broken fan and the identification from Pleasure Way, it's a Dometic FV8300LWUSF81
But when I look on Dometic's website that one doesn't seem to exist -- I tried both 'Canada' and 'US'
Does anyone know what I should order? For a 2021 Ontour 2.0
I do not know where to look to see answers to this thread, so just throwing this into the ether --

Thank you!

I would call Dometic or send a support ticket. It took a few days to sort it out, but I finally got a technician who was able to get me an answer (which was not available on the web site). Good luck.

Possible you have a 3350 series fan- 3 speed, thermostat, reverse, auto lift dome & auto rain sensor

the 7350 series is same with remote control added

3350 close to $300 on amazon

what's wrong with yours?

As above try Dometic for help

It's a vent-only fan, and is attached to the Spyder control panel, which shows speeds of 20%, 40, 60, 80, and 100%. It does have the rain sensor. The top is smashed, hinges are smashed. Pleasure Way suggested that in some cases only the lid needs to be replaced, but I need a reputable service place to figure that out. I have had some bad luck with some service places so will travel to one I trust. But I'd rather get in an order for the fan and have it there when I get there.
Thank you!

I'm not a tech and my PW is older- a 2006.

But I'm handy

Almost all Lids are the 1020-00 clear, 1020-19 smoked, 1020-81 opaque or 1020-82 white translucent

These are sold with the hinge

you can see diagrams for similar models here:

https://pdxrvwholesale.com/p/fantastic-exploded-part

Amazon carries a number of the 1020 models ranging from $32 to double that- here's a link for pics
https://www.amazon.com/Fan-Tastic-Ve...NsaWNrPXRydWU=

it is likely not a big deal.

look for a friendly mom and pop shop.

or a handy neighbor
( in a campground, raise the hood on your van and the "handy" will gather like flies)

See the RV dealerships don't teach us know-nothings this practical stuff!

Agree with Mike. I had a cover rip off my fan assembly while in storage outside. Bought a replacement lid which came with hinge. Easy install.
You don't need to pay someone $120/hr to replace this if you're handy with a screwdriver and not uncomfortable on a ladder.

Thank you for responses, someone was able to get up there and take the lid assembly off, straighten the bent hinge, and put it back together. It isn't as smooth as it was, but it is working
As someone no longer allowed on ladders I could say the same for me.
