Default Howdy y'all! South Texas 2002 owners

My wife and I (along with up to 4 dogs) have been enjoying our 2002 for about 3 years now. Mostly like to take short cruises, but we are looking into a longer one out west as soon as we can.
I'm not an expert, by any means, but I have become very familiar with my coach and have, perhaps, made some mistakes you could avoid.
Happy Trails!

Welcome! The 2002 has the bigger 201 horsepower V6 right?

What MPG are you getting with it?

Hi steveb, My husband and I live in Waller, just 30 miles NW of Houston. We recently purchased a 1999 Rialta and want to take some short trips with it also. We are just learning about it, along with trying to figure out why moisture causes the malfunction indicator light to come on. While we have only gone maybe 50 miles with it, we hope to get this issue under control to get out and enjoy it a little. Any mistakes that you have learned about and can share with us would be greatly appreciated~! Take care, Mary & John

Hi Mary,

We are in Clear Lake and purchased a '96 Rialta on Saturday, we love it. When you speak of moisture causing the malfunciton indicator light to come on what do you mean, in what context? I am new to RVing and very ignorant of the inner workings - I just like to turn the key and go but realize that there are some learning curves ahead. Any information you can give will be appreciated.

Sallie
