Default tucson time is rialta time - to get out of this heat

we bought a 2003 HD a year ago (excellent shape with 85,000 miles for $14,000 that seemed like a good deal) and have done a dozen small day trips and just did a trip up to winter park,co and back and besides blowing a rear tire in Phoenix on the way back we really enjoyed the Rialta. good mileage compared to a 26' winnebago chieftain we had a few years back but not as good as a 69 vw camper many many years back
our last child just finished high school so we are looking forward to more movement we both teach so that makes summer out of town real possible and now very probable...........along with a strong pull to relocate....any great ideas???????
wouldn't it be great now if "they" came out with a fuel that would do the trick without having to spend a fortune on the vehicle or a conversion?
former hip types who still love the road chuck and eileen
