Default Looking at 2008 Pleasure-way Ascent - input appreciated

I'm going to take a look at a 2008 Pleasure-way Ascent - 2008 Pleasure Way Ascent TS, Endicott WA - - RVtrader.com

Do any of you have suggestions about what to look at/ask, other than standard info? The glowplugs and tires have been replaced recently. Current owner bought it 18 months ago (told me the dealership).

I'm new to RVing altogether - not sure if I should try to get an inspection done, but is a fairly remote area.

Also, other than one other 2008 Ascent I see on RV trader, I have no idea how to find a comp for price. Any ideas?

I looked at a couple of other small RVs - Travato & PW Lexor... I like the Dodge handling but the seat and windshield layout don't work for me. I'm nearly 6 feet tall -- and a long torso. For some reason the layout does not work. I think there are potential issues getting fuel for a diesel if I were to try to go to Baja or other areas of Mexico though, right? So I need to take that into consideration.

One of the problems with the Pleasure-Ways is that the driver seat doesn't go all the way back. At your height, that might be an issue.

Also, that is a pretty old rig to be commanding 50% of the MSRP. I think the asking price is considerably above that.

The mileage is low, but that means it has been sitting quite a bit and sitting can be as bad as running a rig as far as wear and tear goes.
