Default Newbie - 98 Dodge 3500 Conversion in Hollywierd

Hi people! Just bought an unmolested Phoenix camper thing with two beds and a shower, toilet, microwave, sink, etc.

One thing I like about this van is it is seriously super-duty on everything. Seems to run pretty well.

I'm currently modernizing the interior a bit before jumping into preventative maintenance like flushing all fluids, plugs and wires, shocks, brakes, etc.

Looking forward to taking advantage of the collective wisdom here.

Thanks! It is in great shape in all the places that matter. Looks like it was maintained well for most of it's life.

I have a 1994 dodge b350 PLEASUREWAY That was in pretty good shape when I bought it several years ago. 5.2 engine mechanically sound with 138,000 miles. I don't use it much, but it's ready to go when I am. Paint is badly peeling, some day maybe a Paint job but it is OK for me.

Just curious how it’s coming along. I am considering renovating ours

It’s going very well! I’m almost completely done. I haven’t posted any of the major updates because I think I’m just gonna do a video about the whole camper at the end. What kind of camper do you have?

I hope it comes soon. I’ll be looking forward to that. We have the exact same Dodge Phoenix USA model. With the green seats and couches and all 😂 . I love it. Presently unmolested, but I’m getting close to wanting to do a complete remodel on it. This week the OG fridge died, and I’m ordering the new one today. New maxxair done plus with LEDs just came in today, so I’m getting inspired.

1998 I don’t think Phoenix strayed away from their design pallet too much when they were doing these. The previous owner painted the Tiffany blue but original apart from that. We just did 1200 miles round trip to crash the eclipse in the Ozarks. What an incredible trip. Just pull over anywhere, and you’ve arrived at your destination!

Well, don’t go anywhere. I’m excited to show you all the stuff we’ve upgraded. It’s a lot! We absolutely love this van too! Like you said, just pull over and you’re there, wherever you are.

I’ve upgraded so many things, I hardly know where to begin, which is why I just want to make a video once I’m done. Probably I’ll be ready to make a video in about a week or two.

That looks really sharp! I’ll look forward to seeing this video and hearing what all you’ve done. Seems I showed up at a good time. I want to move on getting ours where we want it, as I don’t think we have much time left with the open supply lines we’ve enjoyed up till now. And it’s camping season again!

Here is an offering for ya. I did my own photoshop job too lol. And also I will attach a copy of what I was able to get from Phoenix USA on our model. They were able to pull this based on my VIN, but I would suspect yours has about the same. Or did…

I'd love to see the price estimate for a paint job like that, lol. Look great though!

Regarding the vin, enter your VIN here to learn a lot about your van:
