02C190P rear disc brake conversion.
Been looking at rear disc brake conversion kits for my 02C190P Roadtrek. Looks like Lugnut4x4 in Tennessee has a good kit for my GM 14 bolt 10.5 inch full floating rear end. I have seen other kits, but I'm thinking the Lugnut Kit with its emergency brake option on the caliper would be best for the RT. My 02 Chevy RPO code for Roadtrek brakes is JB8, Power Disc Drum. I have a 2010 Chevy 2500HD pickup that has discs on all 4 wheels, JH6. Even when fully loaded in the bed and towing a total of 2 tons of hard wood flooring, I have much better braking than the Roadtrek. Has anyone made or considered this conversion and if so any comments or suggestions would be greatly appreciated.
