Default Roadtrek Cabinet mounts

We have the cabinets that replace the #3 & #4 seats in the RT 190V.

The dealer installed them for us, prior to us picking up the van.

There are a pair of latches on the cabinet, that don't seem to have a purpose. Did the dealer forget to install the eyelets? It looks like the eyelets could be mounted in the wall, and improve the cabinet mounting. The cabinet is not very stable at the moment.

There are two of these on the side of the cabinet, behind the driver's seat. One high, and one low.

It does look like the kind of hook that would fit to an eyelet, mounted on the external
wall, to stabilize the cabinet. Unless there was no good place to mount one because
of the position of the window or frame behind the curtains/fabric in your pictures.
You should probably ask your dealer, to be sure.

I need info from an RT owner that has this cabinet. I'm sure there are a few on this forum.

Are there supposed to be eyelets for the hooks, to hold the cabinet in place?

I got a reply back from Roadtrek. There are supposed to be eyelets mounted in the wall, and the hooks secure the cabinet to the wall.

Holiday Motor Home in Fife, WA, didn't install the eyelets when they installed our cabinets.

I will be looking for a nice set of latches to install here, in place of these.
