Default Dual Alternators-Downside to charging battery in idle

I have a Coachman Nova li3. Dual Alternators with a 600Ah lithium battery. Is there a downside to charging the battery by idling the engine while parked at a campsite? I love to boom dock and don't always want to drive to charge the battery. It is a RAM ProMaster 3500

According to Promaster, idling is OK. With 600AH, you shouldn't need to do it when boondocking. I would think only idle if you want to run the AC or other high demand 110 appliance like some coffee makers.
