Default DEF Fluid Monitoring System

Is anyone aware of a commercial add on or a DIY project that will allow the DEF fluid level in a MB Sprinter to be monitored or visually checked rather than just pouring DEF fluid into the fill funnel?

We also have the same monitoring system, it is called OF&C, meaning OverFill and Clean. Great engineering. This topic was recently discussed on the Sprinter forum. The only device I found is this Swedish level monitor. It is for a single level, more levels more units, expensive units - $170/unit.

Not available on V6 2013 my test. It could be that all V6 have not DEF level. https://sprinter-source.com/forums/i...9#post-1015628

Our Sprinter (2016, 3500, with the upgraded dash) came with a monitor that can be viewed by using the steering wheel controls. If the level is 1/4 down from full, it will take 1 gallon of DEF without overflowing.

Our MY2014 has a DEF gauge accessible on the console display. It shows remaining DEF range in miles. Our van is literally the only 2014 that I have ever heard of with this feature. Sadly, it gives nonsensical values. Must have been a half-baked experiment that the engineers forgot to disable in our van.
