Default Propane tank cover

Does anybody know where I can get a replacement propane tank cover for the back of a RT 170? Mine has gone missing. It is a heavy black plastic piece. One of the plastic things that holds it in place broke off.

Just about everyone loses these covers at one time or another, I cut an old license plate to fit and painted it. Others have used plastic. The small turn tabs are available at Lowes. I believe that they are intended to keep screens in place, but I don't know the exact name.

Best action is to forget about it. I you must have it, it is a section of wall base board available at Lowe’s or Home Depot. Roadtrek sold it for $50. They sold a $10 shower curtain for $200.

"Mobilife RV” in Kitchener, Ontario, Canada is showing them in stock. Look for Propane Cover HM 797 in the Parts section.

You can pick up a Black Vinyl Binder and cut to fit….then you will have a spare.

I lost one of the turn clips, so I drilled out the rivet and used a U nut and philips screw instead to keep the cover on. I don't mind needing a screwdriver, I always have one in the van anyways.
