Roadtrek generator support

I’m installing an Onan RV QG 2800 into my my 2006 Chevy Roadtrek 210 Versatile which has never had a generator installed. . Standard Cummins Onan generator under floor mounts will absolutely not work in my RT. I looked at another RT that has a genset installed and the RT mount is clearly a custom mounting system that RT designed and used. Now the obvious question is how do I find one ? Please let me know if you have any ideas where to find one?

The chances of finding one seem pretty slim. Make a paper pattern with some dimensions and take it to a machine shop.

A welding shop could probably tell you where to get it fabricated.

I assume the picture of the generator and bracket is what you need? Certainly not the standard bracket from Onan.

Yes, I’m having someone cutting new braces for me.

try to make space between genny and differential for a sway bar - just in case you want to add one- my pleasure way has the genny too close.


also suggest a petcock on the fuel line- I can reach mine in front of LR tire- also add a filter and external pump- much easier to service if these are outside the box.
