Hello, I'm considering an upgrade to the original in dash audio. Has anyone with the 230 XLW Xplorers done this and if so, what did you install? Pictures would be great also. Thanks in advance.
Hello Billn, What did you end up doing on the dash audio? What did you install - I'm currently in the same boat. Too many options and you can go down a rabbit hole fast.
Hello Roughcutt, We ended up doing nothing on the dash audio. We had to have the engine replaced and the rear diff rebuilt so the radio took a back seat. We just stream our local radio station from out phone to a Bluetooth speaker while traveling. Works for us for the time being. We use this van pretty hard and need to have the dependability. Sorry I'm not more help but please post back on what you decide to do with a pic or two of the finished install. Bill N
Thanks and we have doing the same thing for now, a bluetooth speaker to our phones. Audio is on my list for sure, but other things first. I noticed you are in LA, as we are north of you in Ventura County. Who do you use for a mechanic, suspension, etc. So hard to find services for these vehicles that I trust.

Crutchfield is a great place to research what will fit your vehicle and what options you may want.
We are in Pennsylvania not La. Most any local mechanics will work on our van. The diff. was rebuilt by the local transmission shop and the engine was replace using a local dealer for Jasper engines.
