Battery charger/maintainer

Has anyone set up their battery charger / maintainer in the storage bay?

I thought about mounting mine in the storage bay.

Easy access? Sure. Always where you want it? Yes.

Any downsides??...

Finished installing a new 6,000 BTU air conditioner in our Roadtrek Versatile 200. It works perfectly connected to shore power.

The generator....that is another story. The A/C will start okay and...

The rear passenger seat comes off and the wiring is accessible for about 2 feet before it disappears into the wall.

I plan to do some more checking on this problem when I return from this next...

I recently had a 200 amp hour gel battery installed and I will have to check it out. The battery monitor shows everything is okay. I will have to do more checking.

Checked the wiring and confirmed the hot wire; I have 11.89 volts coming through.
