Default Tomtom indash

We just got a new 2017 Zion on a 2016 dodge pro master.
It came with the uconnect with tomtom. Seems to be way outdated.
The speed limits are way off, telling the limit is 55-65 on the interstate. It's been 70 for years. Telling me I'm on a two lane highway when I'm on a 4 lane highway.
The version came out 1/2013. Tomtom says to deal with dodge. At dodge one person said a update coming at the end of the year, another can't find any info about their product.
Anybody else get outdated tomtom.

Also we noticed that the the trip mileage works but the avg mpg never changes. Reset it all to 0 when I fill up, doesn't matter if we drive 50 or 250 miles. The avg mpg will read 4.7. The moving mpg changes as you go tho.

Anybody have any ideas.

Thanks
Barry

Buy a Garmin with free updates. Dealer updates may cost almost as much as a new one. I buy one every three years as they keep getting better and cheaper. You eventually end up being stuck with old technology with in dash units

I agree with Mojo. The in-dash units are more difficult to deal with. Just today bought a new Subaru, and looked at their Nav system. Soon realized that my phone and my Garmin standalone are both a lot better systems.
That was good, as Mrs O agreed to a lower trim model, saved a bunch of dosh!
