Default What does this switch do?

I hope this pictures get automatically resized. Its kind of big.
My Ventline control center is just like the one shown. The big rocker switch on the far right illuminates red when turned on. (The switch to the right of the generator meter) The one in the picture is labeled. Mine is not. I can turn it off and on but cannot tell what it does. Can someone please tell me what this switch does?

Many thanks,

Jeff in Texas, 1995 Coach House Class B

My guess is that it is for the water heater.

No, I don't think so. My water heater switch is located on the back wall near the back door.

Thaks for the response though.

Does your water heater switch located on the back wall have a light as well? Could that one be for the water heater electric element?

The lighted switch is usually for water heater when using propane. The light goes out when ignition is complete.

Yes, the switch for the water heater located on the back wall is lit and operates the same as this one. It goes out when the pilot lights. The one on the control panel never goes out.

Tank heater. I bet your right on that call. I'll turn it on for awhile and check the tanks for heat.

Many thanks and I'll report back here with the results.
