did you ever find out about removing the TV? I just bought the 2000 QD and wondered about the TV and VCR combo being upgraded.Thanks

The reason you not getting answers to your question is it's easy. Remove screws from the front surround cover and unbolt tv.

there are no screws on the front cover in mine. It was just double taped in. Pulled that off and still no way to get the tv out. Looks like you have to pull those plugs to take out the whole encacing unit? Same for the vcr I think.

If you remove the little gray caps, you see screws. Remove all the screws and remove the moulded cover just above the drivers head.
