Default Curtains and Tubes for the Travato

I did have a few projects over the weekend. Hung a curtain and fitted some tubes and door edge guards.

Very clever. I also have a curtain I hang between the cab and rear. It came with the rig but with a shower rod that I could see ruining the fabric walls so I use a bungee that I attached up behind the microwave and hooks on the passenger seatbelt anchor. I know you have the ingenuity to conquer the battery bank issue and will selflessly take the time to show others how to also accomplish the same. Thanks again.

Just wanted to follow up on this one.

I ended up removing the velcro and went with an 84" adjustable spring rod. The curtain had to be re-hemmed so that the rod would fit inside the hem (pocket). I think it has a better appearance now - it hangs better and is more secure when underway. I just push it to one side and secure it with a tie-back. It's still easily removable for cleaning or if you want to use the stock window coverings instead.

On the rear windows, I'm going to use the stock coverings and not the drape I had made. One of the updates for the 2015 Travato was that those curtains are held on with magnets and not snaps. I did not realize that when I had the curtain made. The nice thing about the magnets is you can leave the coverings mounted, but move them over a bit so you can see out the back whilst driving.
