Please recommend someone to install lithium/solar and/or generator in Roam
Hi all,
I am about to purchase a Winnebago Roam because it is the only Class B commercially available with a wheelchair lift in it, which I need pretty desperately for my husband. I will use it to take him to appointments, etc., but I also want to use it occasionally without him, to go on trips to see my parents. I'll be off grid on those trips and my understanding is the Roam does not have lithium or a generator, meaning the A/C and microwave won't work. I need both those to work without being plugged in to shore power.
Any suggestions for a company I can take the Roam to that can install some kind of power system for me? I would prefer lithium and solar (I previously owned a Travato KL which worked well for me), but I would also consider an old-school generator as a last resort. I am sure space will be an issue. I want to take it somewhere reputable with highly experienced people who can install something reliable. I am located in Idaho and my parents are in California; a west coast business would be best. Thanks in advance for any recommendations.
