Accumulator tank

I have been very happy with my new Thor. But, the water pump issue was driving me crazy. Thor went cheap and did not install an accumulator tank, this reduces pump cycling. After running the water the pump would go on and off for a long time. With the accumulator tank 0.75L, with 1/2 MNPT port fitting after the pump, the pump runs and then stops! This is a safety issue also, as it helps reduce water pipe breaks.

On the FB forum for PW owners. We installed this device. It is much quieter than original. One of the members installed a accumulator tank. He stated compared to the tank, the water pump controller was quieter? I do not know since I have only had the water pump controller. Installed about 3-4 years ago.
