Default running House AC while driving

On a recent very warm trip I thought it would be a good idea if I ran my House AC while driving, but it turned out not to be such a good idea. I blew the fuse for the relay.
The inverter I have is 3000w and have used it to run the AC while parked from my 200 amp hours of liFePo so I know that wasn't the issue. the fuse I would assume was original in 1997 was it just old? The AC is an LG dual inverter so doesn't draw much power.
