Just be sure they have updated everything before you take delivery. I suggest you get on the Ethos FB page. Jayco/Entegra has had MAJOR teething pains with those units. Units were shipped without the fridge being wired to DC. They issued a TSB (by whatever name) to make sure that the refrigerator is connected at all and with larger gauge wiring than the first units. Apparently incompetent wiring design also caused problems to show up on the RAM dashboard. It was a real CF for the early adopters and some people are still trying to get it resolved.

Hopefully those issues have been ironed out by now, but be aware of them so you can thoroughly check things out.

Thank you for your response. We are now leaning toward the Ford chassis, as we really want blind side assist which I don’t think Ram offers. So many decisions!

Are you referring to Blind Spot / Rear Cross Traffic monitoring and alert? That is available on the RAM Promaster chassis beginning with 2021 model year.

Winnebago includes the Blind Spot monitoring on their Solis 59PX and Travato models. Not sure if Entegra includes those safety options on the Ethos.

Yeah, I gotta say, Jayco and Thor are at the top of my list of RV vendors to avoid if possible. That's not easy because they own so many different brands, but next time I'm Class B shopping, I'm determined to try.

Thank you! Apparently some websites have me incorrect information. I’ll take another look

I agree on the Jayco Swift, only because it’s so new. Thor owns so many brands now it’s hard to avoid. I may go with another PleasureWay, depending on the ride on the rear sofa. Luckily it has the 3 point seatbelts. Thank you!
