Does anyone have any suggestions on lubricants?

Critical areas are the cables and the drive screws. I use White Lithium grease on the screws. I then pull the drive cables out of the sheaths, wipe them off and give them a coating of WhiteLithium grease. I have not found the necessity to lubricate the hinge ponts but I suppose a drop or two of oil wouldn't hurt. I have not found any lubrication points on the motor itself.

Thanks. The 11 year old unit works well, however the reason i asked for lub suggestions was that this year the springs started "singing".

It depends on what part you are lubricating. Here's a link to a post with photos showing how we lubricate the power sofa/bed in our Pleasure-Way Lexor.

Default Power Sofa Bed - Quit!

2011 Road Trek 210 Popular.

Just bought this unit and on our 5th night my wife was lowering the sofa to the bed position and heard a pop and it quit.

Further exam (at night) and it appears the grey colored ends that are mounted on the end of the big screws on each side popped out of the gear housing?

They might be stripped I’ll need to look closer to confirm.

Are these parts still available ? I’m hoping they are universal for most power sofas?

We are from western Canada and currently on the road on the Oregon Coast.

Thanks in advance!
Jim

You can try mobiliferv.ca (a bit pricey...!): https://www.mobiliferv.ca/rv-parts/r...hm-18333/6781/. I personally would take it apart to see if I could "fix it"...!

Thankyou !
I was thinking of them too !
We are travelling and as soon as I get time I’ll dig deeper into it to see what the actual damage is?
Also wondering if it’s a common problem with these or is there is a potential upgrade from the factory design?
Cheers!
