Default Front spring question

Looking at gmparts direct for my 2012 Express 3500 I see multiple front spring options - anyone know the difference?

20760347 - 6an & 7an. Code-6zf,6zh,6zg,7zf,7zh,7zg. Suspension Code:6ZH,7ZH. Suspension Code:6ZF,7ZF.

20760340 - 7ac. Without awd, code: 6yx & 7yx. Code cyy. Left. Code cyx. Without awd, code: 6ac & 7ac. Without awd, code: 6ad & 7ad. Without awd, code: 6af & 7af

Those are all related to the different load ratings of the vans and models, but in the real world if you have a class b built out of the 3500 you will too heavy for all of them, most likely.

Many on here have done front spring updates with various aftermarket springs, usually Moogs.

There are a ton of discussions on here about lifts on Chevies and most relate to raising them about 2" which put them just about right at the stock van spec trim height for the front of a 3500 van.

Ya, my van is 11 passenger low roof conversion so not technically a class B. I'm asking here vs other forums as it seems you guys are the only ones that are actually modifying and improving the ride quality of this chassis.

Have you had it on the scales to know your axle weights?

Not yet but its on the short list for this week. Its a standard roof with 4 captains chairs and a manual bench in the rear... My total config including two front seats is around 1000 lbs. I dont know how much the factory 15 passenger seating weighs but I bet that's pretty close.

3,640 front, 3,420 rear, full fuel, 210lbs driver, no second row seats (about 75 lbs each).

Had the dealer pull the RPO codes:

6AL/7AL - Component FRT Computer Sel Susp
YD5/YD6 - Spring (F/R) Base Equipment

Any idea what thats about? Did you say there were old posts talking about the spring options? I'm not finding one. I'm going to be replacing control arm bushings etc be nice to know what is available.
