Shipments are up 24% YTD

I'm not sure if the year end total will make it to 4,000 units but it's still a great year.
Are the Class B numbers real Class B's (not including B+)..?

I've asked the same question many times concerning the Thor numbers. I don't believe they sell as many pure B's as they claim, but Marco says they are genuine numbers according to his source.

The class A's are on a completely different list....

In 2013, the emailed response I received from Statistical Surveys Inc. was:

Quote:
At this point we only count Airstreams in the Class B report for Thor. That obviously could change as products change.
Basically, I think they do their best to make their reports as accurate as they possibly can.

My assumption is that B plus units would be included in the Class C totals. SSI's September report indicated that Thor is the leader in that category followed by Forest River.

Sales of used B's seems robust. Maybe 'folks' waiting for new tech (solar, heating, battery) to make it into the middle and lower market pricing for this part of the market.

Shipments were down 0.7% compared to last November.

Shipments are still up 21.6% YTD

There's still a chance to make it to 4,000 units for the year. It has been a great year for this segment of the RV market.

Interesting that the very little movement there is in Thor & PW looks like it came out of WGO.

But that probably isn't the case. There is a little over 7% not represented in these shares. My guess is Coachmen is making inroads with their value offerings, and that is coming out of WGO.

Interesting, Erwin Hymer uses SSI data to show they were ahead of Winnebago. Different types of data??

From the article:
"In fact, EHGNA was the top Class B motorhome retailer in the last quarter of 2016, reports Mike Snell, vice president of sales and service for the Kitchener, Ontario-based firm."...
...”We’re reclaiming what Roadtrek was in the past,” said Snell"
..."While EHGNA was the nation’s leading Class B retailer during the October-December quarter for having sold 245 units, a 17% increase over 2015’s last quarter, Winnebago Industries Inc. was 2016’s overall leader in Class B motorhomes"...

Well... I read these numbers (in the post above) a little differently I guess...
But what do I know?
Maybe someone could explain it to me....
Possibly one number is units "sold" and the other is units "delivered"?

While you're at it, explain while some of Roadtreks literature NEVER stopped claiming to be #1 in Class B Sales....

"Top," "leading," and "#1" are in the eyes of the beholder. They never claimed "top selling".
