As long as the 14.5 volt charge point works I’ll use as is.

When I start having troubles I’ll get into the cell by cell analysis. At least now I know how to do it.

Season coming to an end.

Battery bank working very well with 200AH of Battleborn and 400AH of SOK in parallel.

Charge point is 14.5 volts. Low SOC is typically 70-80%.

Do you have separate battery monitors on each bank so you can see if the SOK are still dropping out early on charge?

At that voltage the Battleborns will balance, also, so the bad one may be getting better.

Yes, monitor for each bank. The only change has been the SOC tracks when charging now. Before they tracked on discharge but diverged while charging. Battleborns charged first.

The bad Battlrborn batteries are not in the system but I’ll work with them when I get home and see if I can bring them back.

On another point I have one Battleborn that has been sitting in the Phoenix heat all summer, which has been considerable. It will be interesting to see if it is still alive.

give them some time they will balance between the two eventually.. I installed a new 230 in parallel with my little bit older 230 set and it took about a month for them to get in sink.. they balance, charge and discharge at same rate now..

Good enough. No need to separate the two battery banks.
Now to charge them with 300AH. That will take a while.
