Default Backup camera/third eye

2015 CS third eye/backup camera.

Bound to happen sooner or later. Backing up I hit an overhang at a strip mall. The overhang survived but our backup camera did not. Has anyone had to replace theirs? Did you find a compatible aftermarket third eye/camera combo? Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Default Back-up Camera

I have the backup camera from Auto-Vox. I have the Solar 4 RV model. It is powered by small solar panel. Easy to install since it is wireless. They have other models that may interest you. The FitRV.com website did a review on it about a year or so ago.

I have a sub $100 system from amazon ( similar at costco) wireless camera image, power tapped into the backup lights ( or taillight) depending when you want image
my screen is mounted on left side of dash so I can see screen and mirror at same time.
I hate that in my toyota I have to look down & away from mirrors and windows to use the rear view camera-

I had a backup camera fail and I was able to take just the camera apart and find a manufacturer and model number for it. That way I did not have to worry about the rest of the system.

That is what I did. I found a replacement camera on Amazon for about $30. I was worried that the plug might not be compatible, but it fitted up and fired right up.

YES, see picture of my camera.....

If you get this installed once, you'll probably not have to replace it.

You'll want this professionally installed.....hiding all the wires back to the front is challenging unless you know what you're doing.

When I put my RV in reverse, I can see everything in the back of the vehicle. With this overhead perspective it's a lot safer and easier to back up.
