Default Need to repair bathroom/shower floor crack

Our 2012 Roadtrek Ranger 190 shower, which we have never used, does not include a portion of the corridor, it is totally contained behind the bathroom door. The crack, about an inch long, is located in the centre of the floor between the toilet and the basin.
Any repair ideas will be appreciated.

Could you post a photo of the crack?

I placed one in my “Sensfan” album.

pic is quite tiny for me.

i hope the sodas aren't too heavy.

I would guess that a hole needs to be drilled at each end of the crack to keep it from spreading.

How well is the material supported from below ? any oil canning or slop when you put weight on it?
( ever notice how many showers in budget hotels do that ?)

If well supported I would look at an epoxy type material- you can get 2 part white epoxies at a swimming pool supply store. once in place you can try to replicate any texture

Is there a leak through this crack? I agree with the previous comment, is it a stress crack due to insufficient support for excessive weight.

Thanks guys.
The floor is not well supported; there is a bit of oil canning; I am leaning toward cutting a piece of mold resistant vinyl to cover the entire floor. We don’t use the shower or sink so there is no mold concern.

Adding a layer of cut sheet of fiberglass (Home Depot) glued with good construction glue with edges sealed with white polyurethane sealer (like 3M 5200) would seal the crack and add floor strength.

I have fiberglassed a crack in a plastic shower floor before and it held up well. It is easy to do with 2 part epoxy and a small piece of fiberglass cloth.

I think you first need to identify what material it is. The drop flloor in Roadtreks is fiberglass, but the bathroom isn't over the drop so could be or not. Probably could be ABS, PVC, or some other material that allows that kind of shapes.

Once you figure out what it is, then you can figure out how to fix it.

Try JBWeld Marine epoxy. Comes as solid or liquid. Excellent stuff.
