Default Seeking Info on Portable GPS Navigation Systems

I would like a Portable GPS Unit for my RoadTrek, looking for information on the various Brands and model numbers, any input would be appreciated.

Currently I have a GPS unit which came installed in my Chrysler Pacifica, and I love it.

Appreciate info sent to me by Joe Studley, Barbara and Rick Dalderis, as well as others.

Ron, I would stick with Garmin. We have two. One in our MH and the other in our everyday vehicle. Never had a problem with either.

I have the DeLorme street atlas in my laptop with the GPS attachment. Works great and the program has a basic map with and without the gps function. Since I will have the laptop anyway I don't have to have another unit.

The Garmin GPS will do everything you need. We have the Garmin Nuvi 200.
