Default ebike security

For those that carry ebikes, how do you secure them at night when you are in a campground or are away from your RV? Bill N

I have a coiled cable lock on my honda trail 90, similar to what you would use for a bike

the point is to make a potential theft slow, noisy and inconvenient

I've made provisions for storing inside my Class B two folding e-bikes I once had my eyes on. I can, but I doubt I will now since I am on a blood thinner and now have no desire to ride a bike. I've been a hiker all my life. Why change. The conceptual design and the reality. Those are adjustable shelves. I could remove one and still carry bikes. Alternately, one can modify and hang two full sized bikes in that space.

Previously we used a Lets-go-aero Gearspace 34 cargo carrier. Out of the weather and out of sight locked secure storage. Also stored camp chairs, table, axe, hoses etc. along with bikes. Worked well for 5 years, just sold it this week. They are not inexpensive but worth it as they are protecting a much larger investment (the ebikes) plus the extra storage is very handy in a B van.

Our new vehicle has inside garage in rear with full slide for all the garage contents including the bikes.

We use a Komo carrier that swings away from our back doors on our Chevy Roadtrek 190. It carries both our Sondors ebikes easily and is lockable and bikes are protected from the elements.

Do you have the spare tire on back also?
