Default Jayco Terrain

Another gold digger. Customer attention is just perfect, in urgent need THE toilet paper roll can be reached quickly even before the throne, must be an excellent paper.

Makes sense - Jayco twin to the Entegra Launch. They used the same towels, shampoo, hat, red pot and backpack, and hiking boots in the respective gallery pictures.

Starts at $192K.... from a now Thor owned company? (though, of course, the claim that there will be no changes) lol

I just don't get the whole concept of the bathroom doubles as a storage closet...

That was my first thought as well. But I then I though about all the people who proudly say that their toilet has never been used, so...

If people are using their rigs in that mode (which is certainly their right), may as well design for it.

I did not watch the information in the link, but I assume you have to remove stuff to use the toilet? If so, not good for us either.

We have however thought about the units with the shower as a standalone being kind of a natural to have some roll out of the way storage in the shower as it seems such a waste of space to have all that area open and used infrequently.

Of course, we still prefer our aisle shower Roadtrek as the shower takes no space away from anything else and the toilet uses about as little as is practical with still being able to use easily.

Sometime, somewhere, I saw a storage unit on a piano hinge that normally lived over the toilet, but swung out over the bed for toilet use. I don’t remember whether it was also a shower.

Sounds something like this that I bookmarked a while back:

We store miscellaneous stuff in our bathroom but not on built in shelves. Primarily the dirty clothes hamper topped with shoes, bags, etc., which temporarily gets place on an adjacent bed to use the bathroom during the day and overnight behind the turned around passenger seat. That is an easily grab and move item. That is the only transition item for converting our van from every day use to night time use.

The Jayco Terrain seems like another Winnebago Revel knockoff. How many people really need 4x4s? What do you do with that massive storage once the bed is lowered? The cross sleep bed with flares is not for the urinary challenged. Another ladder to the roof just to look at it? Small van but those customary two uncomfortable behind passenger seats that eat up valuable space all that necessary? I’ve said before, that is a European thing because campgrounds are nothing but parking lots that drive you inside.

This is another shower/toilet concept from Safari Condo folks, doubling as a seating area and allows windows 360. We decided to copy another of their design with the toilet behind the passenger seat, no shower, but much lighter with a separating, quickly deployable, curtain.
